Digital Dental Radiology
Sharper images, more accurate diagnoses, and up to 90% less radiation than conventional equipment — for your health and the environment.
Book an AppointmentDigital radiology is at the heart of our diagnostic approach. Our Planmeca panoramic unit and digital intraoral sensors produce high-resolution images instantly available on screen — no developing time, no chemicals. Radiation dose is reduced by up to 90% compared to analogue equipment. For implant planning or complex case evaluation, our 3D cone beam provides a complete three-dimensional view of bone and dental structures.

Frequently asked questions
Are dental X-rays dangerous?
With our digital technology, the radiation dose is extremely low — comparable to a few hours of cosmic radiation during a flight. The diagnostic benefits far outweigh the risk.
How often should I have dental X-rays?
For a healthy adult with no risk factors: a panoramic X-ray every 3–5 years and bitewing X-rays every 1–2 years during routine exams.
What is a cone beam CT scan?
It is a dental scanner that produces a full 3D reconstruction of your jaws and teeth. Essential for precisely planning implant placement or evaluating complex cases.
Are dental X-rays covered by insurance?
Yes — diagnostic X-rays (bitewings, panoramic) are generally covered by dental insurance plans at defined intervals (e.g., bitewings every 1–2 years). We submit the claim directly to your insurer.
Can pregnant women have dental X-rays?
With our digital technology, the radiation dose is extremely low. When clinically necessary (pain, infection), X-rays can be taken with a lead apron for protection. We recommend postponing routine X-rays to the second trimester or after delivery whenever possible.
